After discovering mahjong in early 2025, Emily was hooked—hard. The obsession started with a family domino effect: her sister-in-law taught her mom, and just a week later, Emily’s mama taught her. Two weeks after that, Emily had her own set in hand and hasn’t looked back since.

Emily has inflicted her mahj obsession on countless friends and has carted her set from Minneapolis to the North Shore, Clearwater Beach, the Bahamas, and more. She’s excited to pass on her love of the game to more Twin Cities locals.
